++ APH:: Singapore Hair Ref.

IT SEEMS THAT PEOPLE GET CONFUSED BY RUSSELL'S HAIR.

So. I. Yeah. Decided to compile a reference of all the hairstyles that anyone has really seen him in, really, as well as his "hair timeline", and how his bangs work from all angles. xD;;

Normal :: It's his usual hair, from 1965 onwards.

Nyotalia (Christine) :: It's the hair for his nyo!girl self, Christine.

Genderbent (Russhelle) :: In the world where Christine counts as a separate entity, Russell's GB!self would have this hair.

Short Hair :: If he were to cut his hair in modern day [like shorthair!China,] it would look like this.

Hair Down :: Probably his second most seen style, it's just when he lets his hair out.

Ponytail :: Then his third most common style, where he doesn't braid his hair and leaves it in a ponytail.

Pigtails :: You never see him like this unless he [a.] has to masquerade as a girl or [b.] is forced for some other reason or [c.] it's crack.

Bun :: Again, you never see him in this; this is more so for when he has to be a "traditional Chinese girl" or something. L-lol.

"Punk" :: Basically, if he doesn't just leave his hair down, his other secret "punk" look is his hair gelled into a side sort style, similar to how the visual kei version of punk is done.

"Business" :: If he has to get she down, or needs to look more business centric, he'll pin back his bangs and stuff.

2nd Cen. - 3rd Cen. :: He was a newborn to 4 y.o., so just imagine typical young child hair.

3rd Cen. - 18th Cen. :: He was about 4 to 12 here. Short.

18th Cen. - 1939 :: Colonization-ish to WWII, his hair only got a tad longer; the only reason it wasn't cut to keep him "boyish" was for... well... England's lovely reasons. :I

World War Two :: It got longer during this period, due to the fact that he wasn't given the privilege of taking care of himself unless Japan permitted it. [Not to mention, it was kinda bad to look "well kept" for various reasons back then. :I /sigh.]

Post-War - 1965 :: Well, he was in really shitty state for this period, until independence- so he really didn't give a flying fuck about what his hair was like. As his economy recovered, his hair got less fly-about. But then the punk movement happened, so he decided to keep his hair long, because he thought of it as cool. [Which is why it is still long today.]

Future Apocalypse!AU :: For *Hayahachi's apocalypse AU, this is basically his hair when he gets all cool and empire-ish-y. 8U
